台灣血液基金會捲入不當黨產風暴，一度重創國內捐血量瞬間蒸發，原本外界擔心波及過年連假期間恐釀血荒，不過，衛福部醫事司司長石崇良今（26）日表示，最新統計，目前血庫的血液安全庫存量達到8.5天，已足以應付過年所需，不必擔憂，但仍呼籲民眾假期出遊時若遇到捐血車，還是要挽袖捐熱血。

根據血液基金會即時統計資料，目前全台6個捐血中心，僅有台南和花蓮兩地較缺A型以及O型血，亮起偏低的黃燈（庫存量4至7日）。

石崇良強調，原本外界擔心過年出現血荒危機，但目前安全庫存量還有8.5天，已足夠過年6天連假所需，春節期間供血不至於出問題，不過年後仍有用血需求，呼籲民眾不管出遊或返鄉，遇到捐血車還是要踴躍響應捐血。

衛福部今天下午也由衛福部長林奏延親自帶領部會相關首長召開記者會，針對過年期間的疫情整備進行報告，除了緊盯一度吃緊的供血狀況之外，有鑑於去年農曆過年期間流感大流行，嚴重疫情造成急診、加護病房乃至救命的葉克膜調度不及，林奏延強調，今年已經由疾管署、健保署、醫事司等單位橫向整合足夠的資源，以備不時之需，並隨時監測疫情發展。
